COVID-19 GUIDANCE

COVID-19 AND OUR ACTIVITIES (Sept 2021)

Your safety and the safety of our coaches is priority. 

 

All of our activities remain in line with current regulations as stated by Scottish Government and in accordance with guidance from Sport Scotland and Parkour UK

 

As such “people who are symptomatic, including close contacts, should self-isolate for 10 days as per NHS Scotland guidance. From the 9th August 2021 close contacts 18 years of age or over who have been double vaccinated for more than 14 days, or 5 to 17- year-olds, with no symptoms, will be able to take a PCR test and end self-isolation if the result is negative. No one who is self-isolating should attend a sports facility or activity.”

 

Scotland has moved beyond  “Level 0”, according to guidance from Sport Scotland there are no bubble restrictions for activities.  Both contact and non-contact sport and physical activity are permitted outside.  

 

All bookings and payments must be done online through our website www.movementevolution.org prior to attending to allow us to comply with track and trace requirements.  

 

Movement Evolution Scotland CIC will ensure that:

    

  • Coaches responsible for sessions do not have any symptoms (including others in their household)  and will maintain  safe distances.  Please be aware that some short periods of close contact will be required to ensure the safety of participants.

 

  • Appropriate hygiene measures will be carried out. 

 

  • Safe distancing is adhered to by participants where appropriate.

 

  • Hand sanitiser is available at all times and will be used by participants before and after use of equipment.  

 

  • All equipment is suitably disinfected before and after each use.

 

  • Emergency first aid remains available.

 

  • Our Covid Officer is available to talk to you if you have any concerns.


 

  What to expect when you arrive:


 

  • Only Participants will be invited to enter the activity area.

 

  • Please adhere to any signs that indicate any required physical/safe distancing.  This will be in accordance with current Scottish Government and Sport Scotland Guidelines.

 

  • Please wait at the marked area where you will be asked about current symptoms. You should not attend sessions if you, or anyone in your household, are experiencing symptoms associated with Covid-19. The main symptoms include; a high temperature, a new, continuous cough, a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

 

  • The participant will be asked to sanitise hands before entering the activity area. 

 

  • Please make sure that suitable clothing is worn.  Participants will be required to carry their own refreshments as we are not allowed to provide any at this time. 

 

  • If there are medical conditions which may affect taking part, these must be made known to coaches at the time of booking.  The participant must be able to self administer medication (ie inhaler) or have a member of their household taking part who can do so.  Emergency first aid will be available in accordance with current guidelines.

 

  • At the end of the session, you will be asked to sanitise your hands before leaving the activity area

 

  • Current Scottish Government restrictions will be adhered to before and after the activity.

 

  • Please respect the safety of others by following instructions from coaches at all times.
