SUMMER 2020 ACTIVITIES
As we all know our lives have been flipped and turned upside down for the last few months due to COVID-19. However, we are delighted that due to moving into Phase 3 and restrictions easing we are going to be coming to a town near you with some fantastic activities. We hope that as we progress through the summer holidays we will be able to add more venues, dates and activities so please bear with us. We will of course be strictly adhering to public guidelines. TOUGH MONKEES OBSTACLE CAMPS
The Tough Monkees Obstacle Camp is a 2.5 hours outdoor drop off camp. For those aged between 5 and 11 years of age.
Groups of no more than 8 will work with one our fantastic coaches to develop their own physical capabilities including crawling, climbing, bounding and sprinting culminating in completing timed runs through our The Tough Monkees Obstacle Course which includes Ninja Warrior Steps, a 3D Spiderweb, Up and Over Climbing walls and much more.
TOUGH MONKEES OBSTACLE
Slightly different to our Tough Monkees Obstacle Camps our sessions are 60 minutes long and are timetabled according to age. During our 60 minute sessions our fantastic coaches will help guide you through The Tough Monkees Obstacle Course which includes Ninja Warrior Steps, a 3D Spiderweb, Up and Over Climbing Walls and much more.
Groups of no more than 10 will crawl, climb, and bound round the course culminating in completing timed runs through our Tough Monkees Obstacle Course. Time to challenge your friends!
SPORTS PERFORMERS SUMMER SESSIONS
A solid strength foundation is vital to perform optimally in any sport, both from a performance improvement and injury prevention perspective. Each Sports Performers Summer 2020 Sessions will cover fundamental Strength Training, Conditioning or Speed work, as well as Performance Lifestyle topics such as goal setting, time management, life balance, nutrition and other topics to.
These classes are suitable for boys and girls in Secondary School or starting Secondary School in August 2020, who have an interest in performance improvement in one or more sports.
INTRODUCTION TO PARKOUR CAMPS
Parkour is the physical discipline of training to move freely over and through any terrain using only the abilities of the body, principally through running, jumping, climbing and swinging. In practice it focuses on developing the fundamental attributes required for such movement, which include functional strength and fitness, balance, spatial awareness, agility, coordination, precision, control and creative vision.
Our pop up up Parkour setup will allow youngsters to start their Parkour journey with rails, vault boxes, balance beams and more.
Through Parkour we aim to build confidence, determination, self-discipline and self-reliance, and responsibility for one’s actions. We aim to encourage respect for others and for one’s environment, self-expression, and the importance of play, discovery and safety at all times. These camps are 2.5hours long and are bookable for two different age groups.
