DEESIDE WELLBEING COLLECTIVE CIC

The Deeside Wellbeing Collective CIC (DWC) is a collective of three local wellbeing practitioners who believe they can make a greater social impact by coming together as one. They host unique wellbeing events in various indoor and outdoor locations across our local area including offerings such as Yoga, Meditation & Sound Baths. Its vision is to create an inclusive programme of wellbeing services in a dedicated Community Wellbeing Hub available for use by a wide range of wellbeing practitioners. This would be visible and accessible to all members of the community in Banchory, the surrounding villages and rural areas.

DWC's aim is to improve the physical and mental health and wellbeing of the local community; to help reduce stress, anxiety, depression and isolation by bringing people together. It is a social enterprise so profits generated go towards supporting its long term sustainability and enabling it to offer free or subsidised community spaces in events and workshops.

Together with Movement Evolution Scotland CIC, the Deeside Wellbeing Collective are looking to include a Community Wellbeing Hub as part of The Movement Bothy 2.0 and Activity Park.
