Movement Evolution Performance is the section of Movement Evolution Scotland dedicated to supporting aspiring young athletes fulfill their athletic potential. For those youngsters who have competitive aspirations our Sports Performers programme provides Strength and Conditioning programmes and coaching; Performance Lifestyle coaching and workshops; as well as a programme of camps during the school holidays. In addition we aim to help clubs best support their young athletes wherever we can.​

Crucially Movement Evolution Performance and our Sports Performers programme builds on from the activities Movement Evolution Scotland provides to younger children including the Tough Monkees programme. The skills and physical development the children develop in these programmes provides the foundation for future sports performance and a lifelong love of physical activity.

SPORTS PERFORMERS
Sports Performers is the flagship service offered by Movement Evolution Performance designed for aspiring athletes in the Movement Evolution Scotland Trail Blazer age group, in Primary 7 and older. The Sports Performers programme aims to deliver support services to help young athletes win on a local, national and international stage. The focus is on regular Strength and Conditioning training with the option to attend once or twice a week depending on sport and educational demands. In addition, bi-monthly Performance Lifestyle workshops aim to to deliver knowledge to young athletes around subjects such as nutrition, time management and mindset. Develop skills that will benefit them in their sporting and non-sporting life.

PERFORMANCE LIFESTYLE
PROGRAMME
Performance lifestyle habits are crucial for athletes striving for success, as they encompass the daily routines and choices that significantly impact physical and mental well-being. Consistent practices such as proper nutrition, adequate sleep, and effective stress management not only enhance physical performance but also foster resilience and focus. By prioritizing these habits, athletes can optimize their training, recover more effectively, and maintain motivation, ultimately leading to improved results and longevity in their sports careers. Embracing a performance-oriented lifestyle cultivates discipline and a competitive edge, essential for achieving peak performance in high-stakes environments. Our Performance Lifestyle Programme is integrated into the Sports Performers Pogramme, however the workshops which form part of the programme are accessible by members and non-members alike.
SUPPORT FOR
SPORTS CLUBS & TEAMS
We can offer specific sessions for sports clubs or teams at The Movement Bothy depending on the needs of the clubs or teams.
We can also offer one off workshops for clubs and teams, for example during training camps.

ATHLETIC ASSESSMENTS
& FITNESS TESTING
Movement Evolution Performance can complete Athletic Assessments and Fitness Testing for individuals or teams. This could be a pre-designed battery of tests or we can complete a needs analysis of the sport and the age groups being assessed. Please get in contact to discuss further.
