YOUTH PROGRAMMES
Part of the wider Movement Bothy facility, the Evolve Performance Gym champions a holistic development ethos for all. The Evolve Performance Gym Youth Programmes deliver strength training for youngsters with a focus on safety, accessibility, and long-term growth over short-term gains. The programme emphasises education and thoughtful progression. Young people learn proper technique, receive respectful coaching, and develop body awareness, gradually gaining autonomy in a supportive gym environment. Our aim is to empower individuals with knowledge, understanding, and competence in strength training, enabling them to achieve their personal goals - whatever they may be.
Our ethos centres on an inclusive community, high-quality coaching, and evidence-based programming that scales with maturation, ensuring every participant trains effectively within their own limits. By prioritising self-improvement over comparison with others, the Evolve Performance Gym Youth Programme seeks to cultivate lifelong fitness, self-discipline, and positive relationships with strength training.

All Stars blends an introduction to resistance training with games and challenges designed to promote athletic skills. Individuals work through a four level journal system designed to develop and challenge fundamental lifting skills prior to further loading. Individuals operate at their own pace through their journals with our expert coaching team supporting them on their journey.

Build Lifting Club is a resistance training class, where participants utilise our online training app to follow a programme suitable for them as designated by our coaching team. We have three programmes:​​

Development - A 24 week foundation programme for those brand new to resistance training, designed to create a solid foundation prior to any significant loading.
Growth - A 36 week strength development programme designed to build on the fundamental skills already developed including learning new exercises and techniques to build strength and power.​
Evolution - For those who have developed a solid strength foundation through the Growth programme, Evolution is a rolling programme with different focuses from month to month, including Strength, Power, Speed, and Endurance.
This class operates a maximum coach to participant ratio of 1:5 ensuring access to our expert coaches. Use of our training app helps to monitor individual work loads and achievements.​
The Miss Fit Lifting Clubs are split into Junior and Senior classes dependent on age. Junior for P7-S2 and Senior for S3+. The Junior class works through a four level journal system which covers a progressive introduction to resistance training combined with games and challenges to challenge and develop athletic skills.

The Senior class has more focus on strength training, where participants utilise our online training app to follow a programme suitable for them as designated by our coaching team. We have three programmes:​​

SUPPORT FOR
SPORTS CLUBS & TEAMS
We can offer specific sessions for sports clubs or teams at The Movement Bothy depending on the needs of the clubs or teams.
We can also offer one off workshops for clubs and teams, for example during training camps.

We are flexible and always interested in finding ways to support more young athletes in the area so please get in touch to discuss how we can help you.
ATHLETIC ASSESSMENTS
& FITNESS TESTING
Movement Evolution Performance can complete Athletic Assessments and Fitness Testing for individuals or teams. This could be a pre-designed battery of tests or we can complete a needs analysis of the sport and the age groups being assessed. Please get in contact to discuss further.
